I have stood before entire companies and said, “We are closing down.”
Then the room falls silent.
Even when people know the business is loss-making, they choose not to face it until it is said out loud.
Lives change. For the employees. For their families. For the community.
The factory floor falls silent. A new chapter begins. For the people. For the families. For the community.
For the land and buildings left behind, waiting to be repurposed.
I deal with the silence that follows.

When Notic is used
Notic is used when an industrial business unit, plant or operating structure requires decisive action. This includes situations where operations have lost competitiveness, where production must be consolidated, relocated or reconfigured, where performance is under sustained pressure, or where leadership requires direct execution capacity to move from decision to implementation.
In situations where the required direction is already clear, the interim mandate can begin directly without an assessment phase.
What this gives the client
A defined entry into restructuring situations. Clear decisions on what must be done. Implemented change across the business. A stable and executable operating structure that allows the organisation to move forward under its own leadership.
Execution Model
Notic follows a structured approach to restructuring situations.
The work begins by establishing a clear understanding of the operating reality and what the situation requires. This forms the basis for decisions that define the direction of the business.
Once the direction is clear, the focus shifts to execution. Decisions are translated into actions, responsibilities are defined, and implementation is driven across the organisation.
The process continues until the required changes have been implemented and the business operates within a stable and executable structure.
About Notic
Notic is an industrial restructuring firm focused on execution. The firm works with owners, boards and executive leadership when operations are under pressure and require structural change to remain competitive.
Founded by a senior industrial leader with direct responsibility for restructuring, turnaround and transformation across Northern Europe, Notic is built on experience from Interim CEO roles, Business Area leadership with full P&L responsibility, and execution of plant closures, production relocations and operational change.
The work is carried out close to the business and focused on implementing decisions across operations and organisation. Assignments typically involve underperforming business units, production footprint changes and situations where execution cannot be achieved through normal line management.
Notic operates at the point where decisions must be translated into action and remains involved until the required changes are implemented and the business has reached a stable and executable operating structure.
