Challenge

Develop a franchise concept in the construction industry, offering full-service solutions to end customers. Create structure and systems for sales, project management, procurement systems to automate and standardise processes. Ensure profitability at the project level, change and supplementary orders (ÄTA). Quality follow-up, recruitment and time management.

Learnings:

Leading employees who do not report to you, who in turn are self-employed, as a consultant requires political skills, being a good listener, creating understanding in the group, creating a compelling story to rally around. Be humble because you do not know everything listen to the people in the room. Build alliances and be prepared for quick changes.

Working with entrepreneurs is an interesting and challenging task that provides direct feedback if you play your cards right. Having an open approach, working with high integrity, being well-informed give you the upper hand in any negotiation.
